Notes

  • Imperative

It appears from Niederländer (1900) that (unless otherwise specified), the form of the 2sg imperative may be assumed to be identical to that of the present indicative singular, and the 1pl and 2pl imperatives to the respectively corresponding forms of the present indicative.

  • Imperfect indicative

Another ending, instead of -øːf, in the singular forms, is -ɛ. This latter form is the rarer.

  • Romance conditional

Niederländer (1900) only occasionally specifies the forms of the conditional. The probable inference to be drawn is that the stem of the conditional is identical to that of the future, and that therefore specification of the forms of the conditional is redundant.
